Confirmed Care

Proof that care happened.

Every visit is scanned at the resident's door. Every missed task reaches a supervisor.

What is Confirmed Care?

Confirmed Care is the system Balanced Home Care uses to record every care visit in an independent living community. A tag is placed at each resident's door. Caregivers scan it at every visit, which creates a time-stamped record. When a scheduled task is missed, our supervisor is alerted and acts on it.

How does Confirmed Care work?

  1. A tag at the door. Each resident we serve has a tag at the door of the apartment.
  2. A scan at every visit. The caregiver scans the tag when care is given.
  3. A time-stamped record. Each scan is recorded with the time of the visit.
  4. An alert when something is missed. If a scheduled task is not recorded, our supervisor is alerted and acts on it.

Why does it matter to an executive director?

When a family member asks your front desk whether someone came this morning, there is a record behind the answer. You know who is in your building, and you have one supervisor on-site to call.

Why does it matter to families?

Families ask one question more than any other: did someone come today? Confirmed Care exists so that question has an answer.
